Britney's 5th studio album Blackout is a masterpiece. With songs such as Gimme More, Piece of Me, Get Naked, and Toy Soldier it is difficult to understand why the album never got its well deserved #1 position on the US Billboard 200. During Brit's troubled times, the album managed to reach the #2 spot.
All other 6 albums released by Britney Spears (such as Britney, In The Zone, Circus...) have reached the #1 position in the US. So if we manage to get 200,000+ sales during the Blackout Purchase Week in the US, Britney will have ALL of her albums at #1, which is what she truly deserves!
For those who live in the USA, you can purchase the album in stores, US iTunes & Amazon.com BUT I'm unsure as to how fans outside the US can help. If you have any ideas as to how "International Fans" can cooperate then don't hesitate to reply through the site or through Twitter.
I know that 200,000+ sales in a week is a bit too much to ask for. But think about it... Wouldn't it be EPIC if we manage to get Britney's album to #1? What would Britney think? She would be AMAZED! Having all of her albums at #1! Furthermore, there are more than 200,000 Britney fans in the US, so if each of you bought at least 1 copy then this goal is easily achievable. PROMOTE AWAY!
