BritneyTouch is being Remodelled!

This blog will remain disfunctional for quite some time. The reason is simple... I am developing a BRAND NEW site, which will be named BritneyTouch.com. So until then, farewell!

I will continue to post news on Twitter, so make sure you follow @BritneyTouch

The OFFICIAL Blackout Purchase Week

After months of planning and waiting, the Blackout Purchase Week will finally commence tomorrow, July 26 & will terminate July 31 in hopes of getting Britney her 7th #1 album.

Britney's 5th studio album Blackout is a masterpiece. With songs such as Gimme MorePiece of Me, Get Naked, and Toy Soldier it is difficult to understand why the album never got its well deserved #1 position on the US Billboard 200. During Brit's troubled times, the album managed to reach the #2 spot.

All other 6 albums released by Britney Spears (such as Britney, In The Zone, Circus...) have reached the #1 position in the US. So if we manage to get 200,000+ sales during the Blackout Purchase Week in the US, Britney will have ALL of her albums at #1, which is what she truly deserves!

For those who live in the USA, you can purchase the album in stores, US iTunes & Amazon.com BUT I'm unsure as to how fans outside the US can help. If you have any ideas as to how "International Fans" can cooperate then don't hesitate to reply through the site or through Twitter.

I know that 200,000+ sales in a week is a bit too much to ask for. But think about it... Wouldn't it be EPIC if we manage to get Britney's album to #1? What would Britney think? She would be AMAZED! Having all of her albums at #1! Furthermore, there are more than 200,000 Britney fans in the US, so if each of you bought at least 1 copy then this goal is easily achievable. PROMOTE AWAY!

As a Britney fan from Australia, I ask you to join in to Blackout's Purchase Week & be part of what may be one of the biggest things fans have done for the one & only Britney Spears.

GET INVOLVED & SPREAD THE WORD through ALL Social Networks!
Remember, it takes place from the 26th of July until the 31st of July.
Over & out.

'I Wanna Go' is doing Great on iTunes

Brit's most recent single from her Femme Fatale album is doing extremely well on iTunes in the USA! The song has moved up the #8 position. In Canada, 'I Wanna Go' holds the #5 spot on iTunes; while in France it is at #12.
According to LivePopBars.com, the single is at #9 on the iTunes Charts Worldwide. That is great!

'I Wanna Go' on US iTunes & Mediabase

Britney's 3rd single 'I Wanna Go' from her Platinum seventh studio album Femme Fatale is doing well in the United States. The song is at #10 on iTunes and at #11 on Mediabase. And in case you didn't notice, the 'I Wanna Go: Remixes' have also been released on iTunes, so make sure you check them out!
